MyCardiologist in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its cardiology team. The role includes office visits and hospital rounding with the physician group, with weekend rotation about once per month.

Ideal candidates have cardiology experience or related hospital medicine, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication skills. Florida license active is required and the position is full-time, Monday–Friday daytime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions.

Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Boca Raton, Florida | Full-Time

MyCardiologist is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its cardiology team in Boca Raton, Florida. The practice has served patients throughout South Florida for more than 60 years.

The position includes office visits and hospital rounding with the physician team. APPs with cardiology experience are encouraged to apply. Experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, critical care, or a related specialty is also valued.

Position Details

• Full-time, Monday-Friday daytime schedule

• Office-based patient care and hospital rounding

• Shared weekend coverage approximately once per month

• Work alongside an established team of cardiologists and APPs

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions

• Conduct follow-up visits and manage ongoing cardiac care

• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists

• Order and review laboratory studies, EKGs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests

• Manage medications and monitor patients' progress

• Participate in hospital rounding and coordinate follow-up care

• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other clinical staff

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Florida license

• Cardiology experience preferred
