Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver acute and episodic care in our Colorado urgent care setting. You will work with a collaborative team, performing evaluations, orders, and patient education while ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulations.

The role emphasizes routine procedures, emergency response, and coordination of referrals, with a mission-driven culture focused on community well-being and accessible care.

Formación

• Master’s program completion for Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Colorado Medical License and DEA certificate.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS/PALS certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical evaluation, treatment and consultation to patients in urgent care.
• Respond to emergencies and answer medical questions.
• Document chief complaints, history, exam, assessment and plan for each patient.
• Order refills, administer medications, tests and referrals.
• Perform routine procedures (suturing, splinting, foreign object removal).
• Coordinate referrals and review test results with patients.

Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider

Reports To: Provider Lead

FLSA Status: Exempt

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provides medical evaluation, treatment and consultation services to patients.*
• Responds to emergencies and answers medical questions.*
• Obtains and documents appropriate chief complaints, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examination, medications and allergies, assessment, and plan for each patient.*
• Provides medical orders for prescription refills, administration of medications, ancillary testing, and/or referrals.*
• Performs routine medical procedures that may include suturing/laceration repair, splinting, foreign object removal, etc.*
• Provide referrals to medical specialists.*
• Reviews ancillary test results and coordinates notification to patients.*
• Provides patient education as needed.*
• Maintains availability to patients personally or through clinical staff to answer questions and relay information regarding their care.*
• Completes appropriate paperwork to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines.*
• Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.*
• Manages personal clinical inbox.*
• Attends provider meetings as requested.*
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.*

Education and Experience:

Successful completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.

Certificates and Licenses:

State of Colorado Medical License

DEA certificate

BLS/CPR certificate

ACLS/PALS certification

DOT Medical Examiners Certification

State of Colorado Level I Work Comp Accreditation

Monthly wRVU Production Bonus Opportunities: Earn additional compensation each month based on the wRVUs you generate, based on patient volume, complexity of care, etc.

Flexible Work Schedule: Enjoy the flexibility of working just 42 shifts per quarter with limited weekend requirements.

Minimal On-Call Requirements: You are only required to sign-up for three (3) on-call shifts per quarter. This provides clinic coverage if a scheduled provider calls out last minute. Optional on-call opportunities are available for those interested in earning additional pay.
