Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine LLC in Colorado is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) to deliver acute and episodic care in a busy urgent care setting. The role reports to the Provider Lead and requires an exempt FLSA status with full-time availability.

Qualified candidates have a Master’s in PA or. NP, Colorado medical license, and relevant certifications. The clinic offers competitive salary, wRVU bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical evaluation, treatment and consultation services to patients.
• Responds to emergencies and answers medical questions.
• Documents history, exam, assessment and plan for each patient.
• Provides medical orders for prescriptions, refills, testing and referrals.
• Performs routine medical procedures such as suturing, splinting, foreign object removal.
• Reviews test results and coordinates patient notification.
• Provides patient education as needed.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
• Completes documentation to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines.

Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider

Reports To: Provider Lead

FLSA Status: Exempt

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provides medical evaluation, treatment and consultation services to patients.*
• Responds to emergencies and answers medical questions.*
• Obtains and documents appropriate chief complaints, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examination, medications and allergies, assessment, and plan for each patient.*
• Provides medical orders for prescription refills, administration of medications, ancillary testing, and/or referrals.*
• Performs routine medical procedures that may include suturing/laceration repair, splinting, foreign object removal, etc.*
• Provide referrals to medical specialists.*
• Reviews ancillary test results and coordinates notification to patients.*
• Provides patient education as needed.*
• Maintains availability to patients personally or through clinical staff to answer questions and relay information regarding their care.*
• Completes appropriate paperwork to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines.*
• Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.*
• Manages personal clinical inbox.*
• Attends provider meetings as requested.*
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.*

Education and Experience:

Successful completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.

Certificates and Licenses:

State of Colorado Medical License

DEA certificate

BLS/CPR certificate

ACLS/PALS certification

DOT Medical Examiners Certification

Minimal On-Call Requirements: You are only required to sign-up for three (3) on-call shifts per quarter. This provides clinic coverage if a scheduled provider calls out last minute. Optional on-call opportunities are available for those interested in earning additional pay.
