Endeavor Health Medical Group in Skokie, IL seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) for GI/Advanced Therapeutics. In a hybrid inpatient/clinic setting, you will work under physician direction to manage pancreaticobiliary cases and coordinate care.

The role requires IL licensure, a Master's in the specialty, and BLS/CPR certification, with prior APN/PA experience preferred. No weekends; competitive benefits offered.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care to GI pancreaticobiliary patients in inpatient and clinic settings.
• Assist physicians with difficult therapeutic cases and perform examinations, orders, and interpretations.
• Prescribe therapies and develop treatment plans per protocol.
• Maintain records and progress notes; follow patients through care in clinic and hospital.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care team to achieve outcomes.

Hourly Pay Range

$56.25 - $72.12 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) - GI/Advanced Therapeutics- Medical Group
• Location: Skokie Hospital, Skokie, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (average of 40 hours/wk.)
• Hours: Monday - Friday between 8AM - 5PM. No weekends, holidays, or call.
• Required Travel: Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park, and Vernon Hills
• Hybrid role (inpatient and clinic)

Job Description

Exciting opportunity to join Endeavor Health Medical Group Department of Gastroenterology - Advanced Therapeutics Team! Under the direction of the collaborating physician(s), provides care to patients with pancreaticobiliary diseases in an inpatient and clinic setting. Assists physicians with difficult and complicated therapeutic cases. Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations, orders imaging, lab tests and diagnostic procedures and interprets results. Instructs patients on the prescribed therapeutic regimen and pre/post operative instructions. Maintains records and writes progress notes on status, treatments and procedures. Follows patients through their course of treatment in the clinic and hospital setting. Collaborates with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as appropriate. Demonstrates evidence-based practice. Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice in the specialty. Assesses the learning needs of patients and families across the continuum. Employs strategies, interventions and teaching to promote, maintain, and improve health. Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease. Promotes wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals, families, and communities. Works autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants. Positively contributes to safety outcomes and promoting high-quality patient experience. Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of service line goals. Supports the strategic plan of the organization. Adheres to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• License: Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) Licensure in the State of IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
• Education: Completion of Master's level program in specialty area
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience: Prior APN/PA experience preferred
