Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) to deliver high-quality care for acutely ill patients across multiple settings. The APP collaborates with supervising physicians, orders tests, develops diagnoses, and educates patients and families about plans of care.

Qualified candidates hold a Masters in Nursing, Florida APRN license, NP certification, and DEA/BLS credentials, with a minimum of three years of nursing experience. EOE, including disability/vets.

Qualifications

Masters degree and Florida APRN license.
Nurse Practitioner certification and DEA license.
BLS certification and CEU/licensure compliance.
3 years of relevant nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

Direct management of care for acutely ill patients with physicians supervision.
Perform patient assessments and order/interpret labs and diagnostics.
Develop treatment plans and educate patients and families.
Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure quality of care across the health system.
Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and patient throughput enhancements.
