This position will support treatment within our Orthopedic Clinics.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities* Efficient use of information systems, data processing systems, telecommunication devices, office equipment, etc.* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence multidisciplinary teams.* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.**Essential Job Functions*** Provides medical services and clinical education to patients in a clinic setting.* Provides medical care and treatment to existing patients Promotes the professional practice of the clinic by maintaining and improving rapport with peers, patients, and the medical community.* Responsible for dictating medical findings on patients in a timely and concise manner.* Assists physicians in writing new prescriptions and prescription refills Communicates test results to patients in a timely manner Assists physicians in the completion of Worker’s Compensation forms, dictation of attorney letters, and other responsibilities as requested.* Assists with on-call duties as needed.* Comply with safety activities, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements such as OSHA and The Joint Commission.* Participate in performance improvement activities.* Attend and participate in department meetings.* Attend mandatory educational programs.* Follow established guidelines as stated in hospital and departmental policies and procedures Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing.
