OrthoNebraska in Omaha, NE is seeking a Part-Time RN to support Pre/Postoperative care in a focused orthopedic setting.

The RN will prepare patients for surgery, monitor PACU patients, and assist with recovery and discharge, collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Nebraska RN license or eligibility for compact state.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• 1+ years perioperative, medical-surgical or PACU experience preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic/sterile techniques and patient safety standards.

This role involves preparing patients for surgery, monitoring them in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) and ensuring a smooth recovery process before discharge. The nurse will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and maintain safety standards.Hours/Schedule: 20 / Two 10-Hour shifts between 5:30a - 8:30p w/ 4 week rotating schedule. 1 - 2 weeks of call per yearEducation: Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing required.
