Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA) to work closely with our orthopedic physicians in clinical clinics. You will provide medical services, patient education, and comprehensive care for orthopedic injuries and ailments.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to AHP standards and patient safety. The role includes on-call duties and participation in performance improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Efficient use of information systems, data processing systems, telecommunication devices, office equipment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical services and clinical education to patients in a clinic setting.
• Provides medical care and treatment to existing patients.
• Maintains rapport with peers, patients, and the medical community.
• Dictates medical findings on patients in a timely and concise manner.
• Assists physicians in writing new prescriptions and prescription refills.
• Communicates test results to patients in a timely manner.
• Assists with on-call duties as needed.
• Comply with safety activities, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and attend department meetings.
