Responsibilities of the APP position include management of inpatient neurosurgical patients with neurosurgical pathologies, perioperative management, and first assist in surgical cases as appropriate. The APP will work closely with other members of the Neurosurgery service including APPs, surgical faculty, and residents. This service is heavily weighted towards inpatient responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of organization, but an equally strong flexibility and skill in dealing with rapidly changing clinical situations and daily schedules. This position will work with all neurosurgical specialties to provide inpatient care for a variety of neurosurgical patients. This team functions as a single cohesive unit with one APP responsible for inpatient management and the others predominantly in outpatient roles.
Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Anticipated Pay Range: The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as Instructor: $111,010 - $124,942 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non‑exempt.
