Company Description

Berks Schuylkill Respiratory Specialists provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for residents of Berks and Montgomery County. The practice specializes in Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Critical Care, and Asthma. Expertise includes COPD, Asthma, Biological Therapies, Smoking Cessation, Lung Nodules, and Lung Cancer. Additionally, services cover Sleep Apnea, Occupational Lung Disease, Interstitial Lung Disease, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Pulmonary Hypertension, and Clinical Research Trials.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site, outpatient, in office, role for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), located in Reading, PA. The APP will be responsible for conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. Daily tasks include managing patients with pulmonary conditions, sleep disorders, and critical care needs. The role also involves patient education, documenting patient information, and participating in clinical research trials.

Qualifications

  1. Advanced practice certification and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  2. Clinical skills in pulmonary medicine, sleep medicine, and critical care
  3. Experience with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and care coordination
  4. Skills in patient education and clinical documentation
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work on-site in Reading, PA
  7. Experience with clinical research is a plus
