Job summary

US Heart & Vascular, in partnership with HeartPlace in Plano, TX, seeks a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to support a high-volume electrophysiology practice. The role emphasizes outpatient care with some inpatient duties, focusing on electrophysiology patients.

Requirements include a Master’s in nursing and active Texas licensure as an NP or PA, plus DEA, BLS, and ACLS. A collaborative team member who can work independently is ideal.

Qualifications

• 2+ years cardiology experience; APP background preferred.
• Outpatient focus with some inpatient duties.
• Master's in nursing; graduate of accredited NP/PA program.

Responsibilities

• Assess electrophysiology patients and perform related evaluations.
• Support EP physician in outpatient settings and participate in clinic rounds.
• Coordinate patient care and contribute to device/therapy planning when applicable.

US Heart and Vascular®, in partnership with HeartPlace, is offering a full-time role for a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP). This position supports a high-volume Dallas-based Electrophysiologist, focusing exclusively on electrophysiology patients. Join Texas’s largest independent cardiology practice, renowned for its commitment to patient care and innovation for over 50 years.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: At least two years in cardiology; prior APP experience preferred.
• Setting: Primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient duties—strong outpatient experience is ideal.
• Education: Master’s degree in nursing; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Licensure: Active Texas license (or willingness to obtain).
• Certifications: Valid DEA license and current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
