Qualifications

  • Current Washington State license as a Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
  • Current, unrestricted DEA registration.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current ATLS and PALS certifications (or equivalent).
  • Previous Emergency Department experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Consult with physicians and specialists as appropriate to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
  • Document patient evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, education, referrals, consultations, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and evidence-based standards of care.
