Qualifications

Current Washington State license as a Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
Current, unrestricted DEA registration.
Current ACLS certification.
Current ATLS and PALS certifications (or equivalent).
Previous Emergency Department experience is required.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Consult with physicians and specialists as appropriate to ensure optimal patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
Document patient evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, education, referrals, consultations, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and evidence-based standards of care.
