Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System in Missouri seeks a Medical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join St. Luke's East.

This full-time day position offers a predictable schedule (Mon-Fri, 4x10 shifts) with no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties. The APP will deliver advanced nursing care to designated patient populations, collect and analyze health data, develop care plans, coordinate case management, and educate patients, families, and staff while adhering to prescriptive authority and current

Qualifications

• APN certification valid for MO/KS and current licensure.
• Active BLS from AHA or Red Cross acceptable.
• Chemo/Immunotherapy certification per Oncology Nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care for assigned patient populations.
• Collect and analyze health data, develop outcomes, and implement care plans.
• Coordinate care and case management; educate patients, families and staff.
• Exercise prescriptive authority in accordance with state/federal law.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes and support system improvements.
• Engage in nursing research and contribute to education activities.
• Adhere to department scheduling and policy requirements.

We are looking for a Medical Oncology APP at St. Luke's East. Full time, Monday-Friday, 4x10 shifts. No weekends, no holidays, and no call requirements. The APP will be accountable for advanced nursing practice in the care of assigned patient populations.

Responsible for collecting and analyzing client health data identifies appropriate expected outcomes development and implement plan of care provide comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management provide consultation to influence plan of care for clients enhance the abilities of others and effect change in the system uses prescriptive authority procedures and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations evaluate clients progress in attaining expected outcomes conduct nursing research provide education to patient family and nursing staff and case manages high risk patients.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Advanced Practice Provider Cert(MO/KS) - Various, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Master's Degree
