Job summary

Saint Luke's is seeking a Medical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with 4x10 shifts, no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements.

The APP will lead advanced nursing practice, coordinate complex cancer care, and provide patient, family, and staff education. Responsibilities include data-driven care planning, extensive clinical coordination, and consultation to optimize treatment plans for patients.

Qualifications

• Advanced practice certification required (MO/KS).
• BLS certification current.
• Oncology chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient health data to identify outcomes.
• Develop and implement care plans and expected outcomes.
• Coordinate care and provide case management.
• Consult to influence plan of care for patients.
• Educate patients, families, and staff; support high-risk case management.

The APP will be accountable for advanced nursing practice in the care of assigned patient populations. Responsible for collecting and analyzing client health data identifies appropriate expected outcomes development and implement plan of care provide comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management provide consultation to influence plan of care for clients enhance the abilities of others and effect change in the system uses prescriptive authority procedures and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations evaluate clients progress in attaining expected outcomes conduct nursing research provide education to patient family and nursing staff and case manages high risk patients. Applicable Experience:

• Less than 1 year
• Advanced Practice Provider Cert(MO/KS) - Various, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation
