Job summary

Florida Kidney Physicians is seeking passionate APPs to join its nephrology team in Florida. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, with the APP University program providing education, weekly guidance, and ongoing CMO support during the first 90 days.

The package includes a competitive base salary with a productivity bonus, 3 weeks PTO, 1 week sick time, and a CME allowance of 2,500 annually. Schedule includes weekdays with dialysis and clinic days, and weekend call as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or PA studies with clinical hours as required by program.
• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Knowledge of documenting medical records with confidentiality and accuracy.

In addition, weekly office hours and ongoing check-ins with the Chief Medical Officer during your first 90 days ensure you have guidance and support to help you grow in your role.

Hiring Package

• Competitive base salary with productivity bonus

Schedule/Practice Details

• Monday- Friday
• Dialysis Clinics (2 or 3 days a week)
• Office/ Clinics (2 or 3 days a week)
• Eventual Equal weekend call

Qualifications

• Master’s degree program in nursing or physician assistant studies with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements.
• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
• Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.
