Job summary

Vail Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for a winter seasonal, full-time role in Colorado. Working under Colorado Mountain (CMM) Physicians, you will deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care with a busy physician team, and handle related administrative duties.

The position requires 2 years’ NP or PA experience, appropriate licensure, and credentialing by the Medical Staff Office. Hourly pay is $58.11–$70.79, with seasonal housing and benefits support.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant in related area preferred.
• Licensure and certifications per the employee's contract. With credentialing by the Medical Staff Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services in conjunction with busy physician team.
• Take medical histories, examine, and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays, refill medications, make diagnoses/differential diagnoses.
• Treat minor injuries, lacerations, musculoskeletal injuries.
• Prescribe appropriate medications.
• Keep and maintain accurate, timely, and proper medical and business records to allow the hospital to bill and collect for services.
• Performs non-patient facing work duties, including but not limited to, patient messages, eRx, document review, lab results management and other remote patient facing needs as directed by and in conjunction with the Physicians.
• Role models the principals of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a full time, winter seasonal, position. This role will be paid as a salaried position for the 3x12 hour shifts during the winter season.

About the opportunity:
