Responsibilities

Direct patient care and coordination within specialty areas.
Evaluate patients by obtaining histories and performing examinations.
Order labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests; interpret results to inform care plans.
Prescribe medications and therapies per standard of care.
Document in medical records per best practices.
Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and health promotion.
Collaborate with specialists and healthcare teams to optimize outcomes.
Assist in research protocols when applicable.
Perform applicable diagnostic/therapeutic procedures per privileges.
Educate patients as per specialty practice standards.
Perform other duties as required by privileges and practice needs.
