Orthopaedic Associates of Maine is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP with RNFA) to join the Adult Reconstruction/Total Joints team in Portland, ME. The role is 70% clinical and 30% operative, with call approximately 1:8 and call from home.

Compensation is commensurate with experience, with bonus opportunities. The APP will deliver high-quality patient care in clinics and assist surgeons in the operating room at our ASC and area hospitals, supporting a collaborative

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Maine license (or eligibility) and national certification (NCCPA or NP board certification).
• BLS certification required; DEA registration preferred.
• Orthopaedic, sports medicine, urgent care, or surgical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to supporting varying clinic and ASC needs.

Mansioni

• Deliver patient care in specialty clinics and as first assist in surgery.
• See new, follow-up, pre-op and post-op patients with graduated responsibility.
• Assist in preparing patients for surgery and direct intraoperative assistance.
• Provide on-call coverage and respond to urgent surgeries when needed.
