RWJBarnabas Health in partnership with NJ Palliative Care Solutions is seeking skilled Advanced Practice Nurses to join its expanding palliative care team across New Jersey, for inpatient and outpatient opportunities.

APNs with NJ licensure and prescriptive authority will assess symptoms, lead care planning, and collaborate with RWJBarnabas Health clinicians; flexible schedules and strong support provide a rewarding, patient-centered role.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey APN license with prescriptive authority.
• Valid CDS and DEA registrations.
• Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in palliative care, geriatrics, family medicine, or oncology preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to whole-person care.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palliative care services across a variety of settings, including patients’ homes, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and telehealth platforms.
• Participate in both inpatient and outpatient care, depending on site needs and preferences.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, manage complex symptoms, and lead advanced care planning discussions.
• Collaborate closely with RWJBarnabas Health physicians, care managers, and community providers.
• Flexible schedule supported by a compassionate leadership team and robust administrative infrastructure.

Advanced Practice Nurse – Palliative Care

NJ Palliative Care Solutions, in strategic partnership with RWJBarnabas Health, is seeking skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) to join its growing Palliative Care team for inpatient and outpatient opportunities across New Jersey.
