Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Downers Grove, IL seeks an experienced APRN/Registered Nurse to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care across age groups within an interdisciplinary team.

You will provide health promotion, disease management counseling, maintain accurate EMR documentation, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. State licensure and board certification required; prior practice in a clinical setting strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN and APRN license in state(s) of practice.
• Active national board certification in clinical practice and populations served.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans appropriate for age and condition.
• Provide health promotion and disease prevention counseling to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and compliant coding/billing submissions.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team and coordinate care with physicians and other professionals.
• Participate in quality, safety, and peer review initiatives and education of staff.
