Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an experienced Manager, Advanced Practice to lead APP Fellows and coordinate the Fellowship Program at James Cancer Hospital. You will mentor APRNs and PA-Cs, oversee clinical education, performance evaluations, and engagement with nursing and physician leadership to standardize practice.

Qualifications

• Master of Science Degree Nursing or a Master's in Physician Assistant Science.
• APRN License with Certification as an NP or PA-C.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience, including two (2) years as an APP and two (2) years in a lead APP, administrative leadership, or APP Educator role.
• Preferred minimum years of relevant experience: 6-10.
• Doctorate Preferred.

Responsibilities

• The APP Manager coordinates the day-to-day activities of the APP Fellowship Program.
• Designs, develops, implements and evaluates classroom and clinical instruction for APP Fellows.
• Oversees APP student placement and administrative reporting as per department expectations.
• Acts as liaison between APP fellows and APRN/PAs and senior advanced practice leadership.
• Partners with APP leadership to implement workforce strategy and standardize best practices across sites.
