Job summary

Qualifications

• MSN is required upon hire or within 3 years for external hires and internal hires moving to APRN.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
• If neonatal care, MS degree is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and conduct exams; order tests and interpret labs.
• Perform routine and advanced diagnostic procedures as credentialed.
• Prescribe and monitor medications within licensure and policy.
• Educate patients about diseases, treatments, risks, and side effects.
• Participate in rounds and collaborate with nursing and other clinicians.
