Job summary

Optum Colorado seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Westminster, CO clinic team near the Denver area. You will manage outpatient patient care, see adults and seniors, document thoroughly, and collaborate with specialists to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted APRN or PA license in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Prescribing authority, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• 1+ years of NP/PA experience, preferably in primary care or family medicine.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in outpatient setting.
• See patients of all ages; primarily adults/senior base.
• Average daily patient census: 18-20 patients.
• Complete timely and thorough documentation.
• Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and procedures.
• Order lab and imaging tests for immediate treatment planning and follow-up.
• Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services.
• Maintain quality of care standards as defined by the practice.
