Planned Parenthood of Northern New England is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/CNM/PA) for a part-time, 7.5-hour-a-week role in Barre, Vermont. You will provide patient-centered reproductive health care, perform focused exams, educate patients on contraception and pregnancy options, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold a master’s degree in an accredited NP/PA program, demonstrate strong counseling skills, and maintain a patient-first approach consistent

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient-centered care in alignment with PPNNE standards.
• Assesses health status and prescribes contraceptive methods and treatments for GYN problems.
• Counsels patients on reproductive health, including FDA-approved contraception and pregnancy options.
• Delivers culturally and linguistically appropriate care to PPNNE populations.
• Performs physical exams focused on reproductive health and annual screenings.
• Refers patients to physicians and other services as appropriate.
• Accurately codes medical services to support revenue cycle.

POSITION TITLE: Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/CNM/PA)

LOCATION: Barre, VT

HOURS: Part Time, 7.5 hours/week (Thursday) , Hourly (Non-Exempt)

POSITION PURPOSE:

Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC) provide patient-centered, personalized health care to clients. APCs along with Health Center support staff create a safe, non judgmental environment for people of all genders to access high quality reproductive & sexual healthcare.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides exceptional patient-centered care, in a manner that ensures compliance with current PPNNE efficiency and productivity standards.
• Assesses patient's health status and prescribes appropriate contraceptive methods, treatments for GYN problems
• Counsels/educates patients regarding general reproductive health care; all FDA-approved methods of birth control, including emergency contraception; pregnancy options including abortion, adoption as well as Gender Affir…
• Provides health care that is culturally and linguistically appropriate to PPNNE patient populations.
• Performs appropriate physical exams, with focus on the reproductive system, including standard initial and annual exams, and screening procedures
• Refers patients to physicians and other health or social services as appropriate
• Responsible for accurately coding for medical services provided, in support of the organization’s overall revenue cycle.

COMPENSATION:

• Pay Range - the range of pay for this role begins at $56/hr

• Master’s degree and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
