Job summary

OU Medicine is seeking an APP (NP/PA) Advanced Practitioner in Internal Medicine to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care across the outpatient and inpatient spectrum. The APP works within a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and manage medical conditions while adhering to regulatory practice standards.

Ideal candidates will hold Oklahoma APRN or PA credentials, be comfortable with care coordination, and participate in education and research initiatives aligned with OU Health’s

Qualifications

• APRNs must hold an active Oklahoma RN license and APRN license.
• No experience required for this role, but clinical readiness is essential.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and care coordination skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical assessments appropriate to age and clinical condition.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies; develop and adjust care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical record.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care and education.
