Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks an APP (NP/PA) to provide comprehensive care within the Advanced Practice Provider Internal Medicine team. You will assess, diagnose, treat, educate and coordinate care for patients and families in collaboration with physicians and healthcare staff.

Graduate of an accredited nursing or PA program; Oklahoma APRN/PA license; BLS on hire; prescriptive authority within 30 days; no experience required for APRN/PA candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in nursing or physician assistant services.
• Current licensure/registration in Oklahoma for APRN or PA.
• Basic Life Support required; prescriptive authority within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical assessments, orders and interprets diagnostics.
• Delivers patient-centered care and coordinates with the healthcare team.
• Documents thoroughly in the electronic medical record and adheres to policies.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing or equivalent for APRN, MSN, or Master’s in Physician Assistant Services
