Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Infectious Disease within the Internal Medicine framework. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients while coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

You will operate under state laws and institutional policies, maintain EMR documentation, and participate in research and education activities. APRN or PA licensure in Oklahoma is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing if APRN, MSN or Master's in Physician Assistant Services.
• Experience: No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical assessments for patients of various ages.
• Orders diagnostic studies and interprets results.
• Develops and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Maintains accurate electronic medical record documentation.
• Provides patient- and family-centered care and coordinates with the healthcare team.
• Communicates effectively with physicians, other health professionals and agencies.
