An established industry player in healthcare is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join their dedicated team. Overview
Draws blood from patients, processes specimens, performs limited testing, and handles administrative duties. Work at various Mercy facilities performing these functions as needed. Work alternate shifts, weekends, and holidays to ensure adequate service coverage. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a phlebotomy course and/or two years of experience. Healthcare experience such as Paramedic, EMT, CNA, or MA is helpful.
Certification/Licensure
Phlebotomy Certification required. Maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance if driving is required. Maintain an acceptable driving record.
Additional Requirements
Pass driver’s license and background checks as applicable. Ability to follow instructions.
Work Environment
Moderate noise level; occupational exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.
Age of Patients Served
Neonate to Geriatric.
Information Access
Access patient care information necessary for duties.

Partners, physicians, patients/families, visitors, vendors.
Special Physical Demands
Must frequently stand, walk, bend, handle, reach, and communicate; occasionally lift up to 25 lbs and push over 50 lbs.

Work independently with minimal supervision.
