Qualifications

• Must meet the standards for licensing as required by the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy.

• Pharmacy experience and computer data entry skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all position accountabilities for pharmacy technicians.
• Assist in training pharmacy technicians.
• Coordinate improvement activities.
• Implement new projects and develop policies.
• Perform medication reconciliation duties.
• Manage bar-coding technology for unit dose medications.
• Reconcile medication charges between Pharmacy and Business Office.
• Maintain computerized automatic dispensing machines.
• Follow policies and procedures and participate in quality improvement.
