Qualifications
Must meet the standards for licensing as required by the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy.
Three years of experience or two years with State approved certification.
Pharmacy experience and computer data entry skills preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform all position accountabilities for pharmacy technicians.
Assist in training pharmacy technicians.
Coordinate improvement activities.
Implement new projects and develop policies.
Perform medication reconciliation duties.
Manage bar-coding technology for unit dose medications.
Reconcile medication charges between Pharmacy and Business Office.
Follow policies and procedures and participate in quality improvement.
