Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• State Certified Pharmacy Technician with SC Board of Pharmacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Hazardous compounding as a significant portion of scheduled shifts.
• Interprets and prepares medication orders and manages inventory.
• Enter patient charges and credits accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service at the pharmacy window and on the phone.
• Assist pharmacists with prior authorizations/appeals.
• Mentor new technicians and interns.
• Create patient profiles in software systems.
