Job summary

Prisma Health's Greenville Memorial Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy team under the direction of a pharmacist. You will perform prescription filling, utilize automation, and support sterile compounding in a compliant, patient-centered environment.

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and a strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology, with on-site evening shifts and opportunities to grow toward Technician II and Advanced titles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; OR post high school degree.
• No experience required.
• Registered with SC Board of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Tech Certification required within 18 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and prepare medication orders; fill provider orders, kits/trays, and automated cabinets; handle controlled substances per policy.
• Operate automation and enter patient charges into computer systems.
• Assist with inventory management and maintain a clean work area.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas per schedule; assist with sterile compounding as needed.
• Support training of new personnel and interns.
