Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team under a pharmacist's direction. You will assist with medication orders, automation, inventory fulfillment, and sterile compounding in non-hazardous settings within both acute care and retail spaces.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required. You must obtain Pharmacy Tech Registration and Certification within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent; OR post high school degree.
• Experience - No experience required.
• Certification required: Pharmacy Tech Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy; Pharmacy Tech Certification within 2 years (24 months) of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and prepares medication orders using provider orders, kits/trays, automated cabinets, and floor stock requisitions.
• Handles all controlled substances in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Operates cash register and processes payments for pharmacy products/services.
• Enters patient charges and credits and maintains logs and documentation.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and supports QA tasks and inventory checks.
