Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team on a PRN basis. Under RN guidance, you will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected.

Qualifications

• Experience with advanced patient care tasks.
• Ability to observe and communicate patient changes to nursing staff.
• Willingness to perform phlebotomy, telemetry and invasive care as directed.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, document changes, and communicate with nursing team.
• Assist with daily activities (ADLs) and provide comfort.
• Provide advanced care including phlebotomy, telemetry, IV/catheter management, and wound care.
• Assist with collecting lab samples and clerical tasks to keep care running smoothly.
• Anticipate patient needs to ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.
