Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician II to provide advanced patient care under the supervision of licensed clinicians. You will support direct and indirect care, assist in safety and de‑escalation techniques, and mentor staff in safe patient handling and point-of-care testing.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma and 2 years of healthcare experience, with certification in BLS and CPCT preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required; advanced skills transfer if within six months of hire.
• Healthcare knowledge - medical terminology, patient care needs, interprofessional team role.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in areas such as EKG monitoring, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and use of medical equipment.
