Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Patient Care Technician for the Belton area to support nursing teams with advanced care tasks and compassionate, patient-centered service. Under RN guidance, you will assist with phlebotomy, telemetry, wound care, and more.

Responsibilities include observing patients, assisting with ADLs, and helping with lab samples and clerical duties to ensure smooth operation. High School/GED and BCLS within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

As an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT) , you will be an important part of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected.

• Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely

• Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and care for wounds

• Assist with supporting tasks like collecting lab samples and assisting with clerical duties to keep care running smoothly

• Look ahead to what patients might need, respond quickly, and help ensure every experience feels seamless and compassionate

What qualifications you will need:
