Job summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant 2 at University of Miami Hospital & Clinics provides intermediate patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with dressing, bathing, eating, vital signs, IV feeding tube management, and ADLs, while maintaining a safe, respectful patient environment.

This full-time role requires Florida CNA licensure, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least three years of CNA experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant CNA experience.
• Valid State of Florida CNA license required.
• Ability to learn procedures, adapt to priorities, and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with hygiene, feeding, mobility, and personal care.
• Take vitals, collect noninvasive specimens, and monitor patient status.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, transferring, and activities of daily living.
• Support patient safety and report conditions to the nurse in charge.
