Responsibilities

• Patrol routes to enforce parking and traffic ordinances; issue citations and warnings.
• Issue non-moving traffic citations for violations.
• Impounds and stores vehicles.
• Respond to public questions and complaints or refer to supervisor.
• Report street and traffic-signal repair needs to appropriate staff.
• Report accidents and related incidents to police units.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as radios and cones.
• Assist in traffic control at accidents or emergencies.
• Assist officers with events, street closures, checkpoints, child seat inspections, and transport for citizens.
• Maintain records, logs, and reports; submit citations; prepare daily/monthly reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
