Job summary

Responsibilities include assessing calls, applying Paramedic protocols, and collaborating with public safety personnel to deliver high-quality emergency medical services.

Qualifications

• State Paramedic license required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while following Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance of care.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
