Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas, TX is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the Outpatient Rehab department at Cityville Clinic. This part-time role comprises two 10-hour days, from 7:30am to 6pm, on-site at our Dallas location.

The incumbent will provide direct OT services, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to treatment planning and discharge planning. A minimum of 3 years of OT experience, a Texas OT license, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years previous Occupational Therapy experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Texas license to practice Occupational Therapy required.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services to patients and document progress.
• Coordinate and prioritize own schedule with patient treatment demands.
• Serve as a preceptor/mentor for new staff therapists and students.
• Support leadership and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain equipment, attend meetings, and participate in program development.
• Assume other duties appropriate to the position.
