Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan and implement individualized treatment programs, aiming to restore function, improve mobility and reduce pain across inpatient and outpatient caseloads.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, participate in education efforts, document thoroughly in the EMR, and ensure timely discharge planning. Florida license within 90 days preferred; BLS and lymphedema cert are required or desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• BLS certification required.
• Temporary Florida license expected; must pass licensing exam within 90 days of hire.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Lymphedema Certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan and implement PT treatment programs for individual patients.
• Restore and maintain function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent disabilities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team regarding patient needs.
• Document evaluations and daily treatment sessions in the EMR with accurate billing.
• Discharge patients in a timely manner and contribute to education efforts.
