Under the direct supervision of the Manager of the Maternal Fetal Diagnostic Center and the guidance of the Perinatology Sonographer Lead, the Perinatal Sonographer performs diagnostic imaging in a high-risk obstetrical ultrasound unit. Responsibilities include operating sonographic equipment independently, performing diagnostic examinations, and communicating results. The role requires adherence to departmental standards on patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, reporting equipment failures, and quality assurance. The individual must uphold high medical ethics, be self-motivated to enhance their knowledge, and demonstrate courtesy and tact in interactions.
Requirements:
Salary Range: $38.98/hour to $64.37/hour, commensurate with experience and equity. Salary discussions may occur during candidate screening if range is not specified.
