Job summary

TriHealth Good Samaritan is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Advanced OB Unit for night shifts, delivering direct and indirect holistic care to high-risk obstetric patients and their families.

You will collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based care; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; and support mothers through labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or diploma in nursing required.
• BSN within 5 years of hire.
• 2 years labor and delivery experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Registered Nurse licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient/family assessment and document findings.
• Plan and implement individualized care plans with discharge planning.
• Provide safe, therapeutic environment, educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with health care team and follow physician orders.
• Administer medications and monitor effects per policy.
• Mentor staff and maintain up-to-date practice knowledge.
