Job summary

Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, TX is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide general care to patients of all ages in the Center for Pain Relief. You will perform assessments, record histories, administer treatments, assist physicians and prescribe medications.

This full‑time role requires MSN with ARNP specialization, active Texas NP license, BLS at hire, and preferably 1–2 years of NP experience with EHR systems; pain management/interventional experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• MSN with ARNP specialization required
• Current Texas NP license required
• BLS on hire and kept current
• 1–2 years NP experience preferred
• Experience with Electronic Health Records required
• Pain management or interventional experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide general care to patients of all ages.
• Perform tests and document medical histories.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Assist physicians in procedures.
• Promote health awareness and patient education.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications
