Job summary

Procura Pain & Spine seeks an experienced Mid-Level Provider (NP/PA) in Texas for interventional pain management. You will assess patients, order and perform procedures, and collaborate with allied health professionals to develop effective care plans.

Candidates must hold an active Texas license (NP/PA) and DEA registration, with National Board Certification and strong EHR/EMR skills. The clinic partners with behavioral health and anesthesia teams for integrated care.

Qualifications

  • Must hold Texas license as NP or PA and DEA registration.
  • National Board Certification.
  • Experience with interventional pain management procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prescribe/order interventional pain management procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
  • Order/interpret diagnostics (imaging, labs).
  • Provide patient education on disease management and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in the EHR.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals on care plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Prescribe/order Advanced Pain Management procedures
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging and laboratory tests
  • Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs
  • Perform procedures such as venipuncture, wound care, and suture removal
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and treatment options
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (wClincalWorks)
  • Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Qualifications:

Responsibilities: NP or PA Physician Assistant - Interventional Pain Management

  • Perform medical procedures as necessary
  • Prescribe medications and treatments
  • Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
  • Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
  • Maintain patient medical records as the Mid-Level Provider
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Qualifications: Mid-Level Provider
  • Previous experience as a PA or NP with active Texas License
  • Advanced knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong EHR/EMR and clinical work flow knowledge
  • Current Texas license & DEA
  • National Board Certification
  • Understanding of Pain Medications
  • Understanding of Interventional procedures, a plus
  • Must pass background and drug screening
