Job summary

Operose Health is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner for Sidley Medical Practice. Role involves initial history, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care within a general practice team.

The ideal candidate is NMC registered with advanced clinical practice and a path toward non-medical prescriber status, with a preference for MSc level 7; minor illness qualification is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice toward working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner preferred; MSc toward ACP status considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care; demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care within general practice; work with the team to meet patient needs and support policy/procedures.

Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience
Hours: 27 hours per week

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice. You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.

Package Description:

• Annual salary of up to £60,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
