Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking an Advanced Nurse Clinician (ANC) to ensure clinical outcomes for select patient populations through staff development, collaboration, and leadership. The ANC operates under HRO principles and aligns with the organization’s mission and standards.

The role reports to the AVP/VP and Director of Clinical Practice, with a focus on quality, safety, and professional development of the nursing staff in a complex health system in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years recent clinical experience in specialty area.
• Masters Degree in Nursing or near completion of advanced degree.
• NJ RN licensure required; certs: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Quality and Safety: interpret data to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Support patient throughput with individualized plans of care.
• Use evidence-based practice to resolve quality issues.
• Communicate practice changes and implement new policies.
