Job Description Summary

The Advanced Nuclear Commercial Leader (Proposal Manager) demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will create, integrate, and develop customer offerings that meet business needs across the organization. You will collaborate with potential partners to create project delivery models and supporting agreements, manage complex issues within functional areas, negotiate mutually agreeable outcomes, and calculate commercial financial measures for senior management reviews.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Develop proposals, cost estimates, and pricing strategies. Support reviews of terms, conditions, and customer purchase orders.
  • Act as the primary interface with the Global Sales Team on opportunities in the Advanced Nuclear business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Leaders, Project Managers, Product Managers, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Sourcing, and Account Managers.
  • Present deal structures and financial models to Business Leadership for approval.
  • Prepare review materials and position papers for new unit opportunities at GE Vernova (GEV) Power and GEV Corporate levels.
  • Participate in negotiations with customers alongside Nuclear Account Managers and Contract Managers.
  • Develop presentation materials describing project financial performance, funding sources, and delivery models; present these to customers and partners.
  • Lead customer contract negotiations with Contract Managers, Project Directors, and Product Line Managers.
  • Work with potential partners to develop acceptable project delivery models.
  • Establish proposal or contract review roadmaps focusing on delivery.
  • Coordinate reviews of contract documents and financial models, incorporating feedback.
  • Manage deadlines and drive the process to meet them.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to improve customer satisfaction and address issues.
  • Maintain CRM (SalesForce) and Cost Estimating tools.
  • Support metrics related to the 'Inquiry to Order' process.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience, including 5 years developing EPC contracts.
Eligibility Requirements
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
  • Preferred location is GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; remote candidates based in the U.S. are also considered.
Desired Characteristics
  • Proficiency in constructing Excel models and editing MS Word documents.
  • Ability to multi-task during contract negotiations and opportunity development.
Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range is $150,000–$200,000, with potential bonuses and incentives. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, tuition and adoption assistance, paid parental leave, and more.
