Job Description Summary

The Advanced Nuclear Commercial Leader (Proposal Manager) demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will create, integrate, and develop customer offerings that meet business needs across the organization. You will collaborate with potential partners to create project delivery models and supporting agreements to meet business, partner(s), and customer needs. Additionally, you will manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, negotiate mutually agreeable outcomes, and calculate applicable commercial financial measures (margin, cash flow, revenue recognition, NPV, etc.) for senior management reviews.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Develop proposals, cost estimates, and pricing strategies. Support reviews of terms and conditions and customer purchase orders.
  • Act as the primary interface with the Global Sales Team on opportunities in the Advanced Nuclear business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Leaders, Project Managers, Product Managers, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Sourcing, and Account Managers.
  • Present deal structures and financial models to Business Leadership for approval.
  • Prepare review materials and position papers regarding new unit opportunities for review at GE Vernova Power and Corporate levels, working with relevant contacts.
  • Participate in negotiations with customers alongside Contract Managers and Project Directors.
  • Develop customer and partner presentation materials describing financial performance, funding sources, and project delivery models. Present and explain these models.
  • Lead customer contract negotiations with relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with potential partners to develop acceptable project delivery models.
  • Establish proposal or contract review roadmaps focusing on delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate reviews of contract documents and financial models, incorporating feedback.
  • Manage deadlines and drive the process to meet them.
  • Partner with Marketing/Sales to improve customer satisfaction and address customer issues.
  • Maintain CRM (SalesForce) and Cost Estimating tools.
  • Support achievement of Commercial Team metrics related to the "Inquiry to Order" process.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience, including at least 5 years developing EPC contracts.
Eligibility Requirements
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, domestically and internationally.
  • Preferred location is at GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; remote candidates based in the U.S. will also be considered.
Desired Characteristics
  • Proficiency in constructing mathematical models using Excel and editing documents in MS Word.
  • Ability to multi-task, supporting mature negotiations while developing new opportunities.

The base pay range for this position is $150,000-$200,000, with potential bonuses and incentives. The role is eligible for relocation assistance. The application deadline is June 20, 2025.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, contingent on obtaining necessary authorization.
