Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a qualified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist for an onsite 13-week contract in Rochester, NY. The role requires performing advanced imaging with precision and delivering compassionate patient care.

The candidate should have 2+ years in Nuclear Medicine, NYS Rad Tech license, NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, and BLS. Hours are 7am–3:30pm, with some days until 4:30pm; no on-call or weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
• 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience.
• NYS Rad Tech License.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining safety at all times.
• Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radio pharmacy operations within NYSDOH guidelines.
• Manage and document patient data in the CUPID system and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Partner with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and continuously enhance lab protocols.
